Exhibition experience:

  1. Welcome all visitors and walk them through the exhibition space, explaining what Blok does and the various products on offer (homes, living, design)
  2. Documenting and communicating any issues relating to the exhibition space and assisting in executing the solutions
  3. Managing the full sales process for Konnect (Blok’s design network)
  4. Ensure Exhibition Space is always ready to conduct a sales tour
  5. Show day management & coordination of any additional showroom spaces

Sales assistance (client & team):

  1. Answer the Blok phone and handle sales related queries
  2. Provide basic legal info regarding payment options, the process of signing of documents and development timeline info
  3. Provide administrative support and coordinate weekly sales meetings
  4. Internal reporting to the team on weekly showroom activity
  5. Compile lead related data for reporting to the Sales Managers
  6. Continuous review of reporting systems to ensure maximum benefit to sales team
  7. Responsible for the process of opening and closing the showroom



  1. Prepare an annual schedule of experiences Blok can host in the showroom
  2. Assist in being Front of House for any exhibitions or events hosted in the space
  3. Marketing of Exhibition Space (shoots, events, presentations etc)
  4. Coordinate, with support from the Blok Client Service team, micro events – ground breakings and roof wettings
  5. Coordinate, with support from the Blok Marketing team, internal events – team briefings, Pecha Kuchas, other
  6. In collaboration with the Marketing team, assist in delivering major events and development launches
  7. Overseeing all Exhibition Space activities and events



  1. Assist with any reception duties required such as arranging deliveries/collections and correspondence when Admin Assistant is unavailable
  2. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  3. General ad hoc duties as the company sees fit



  • Matric / Diploma or higher
  • Front of House / reception experience
  • Telephone skills & good verbal communication
  • Customer focus with client and supplier coordination experience
  • Strong attention to detail & highly organised
  • Administrative experience required
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Competent in Excel, Outlook and Word (MS Office Suite)
  • Positive and professional attitude and appearance
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be able to work successfully in a team
  • Ability to work on evenings and weekends



  • R14 000 – R16 000 per month Cost to Company based on previous experience
